The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has taken an aggressive stance against the BJP, alleging that Delhi Chief Minister Atishi’s belongings were forcibly thrown out of the bungalow, which was previously allocated to Arvind Kejriwal. Notably, Atishi came to live at the bungalow vacated by Kejriwal after he relinquished the CM post. The PWD allegedly opposed the move, asserting that rules were flouted in the exercise.

Meanwhile, the AAP has launched a scratching attack on BJP by sharing a post, where Atishi could be seen checking government files with her belongings packed.

“This is the passion to work for the public. BJP's LG can snatch away the residence of Delhi's woman Chief Minister @AtishiAAP and get her belongings thrown out of the CM House, but cannot snatch away her passion for working and serving the people. The Aam Aadmi Party government will continue to serve the people of Delhi and fight for their rights and entitlements till the last breath, fighting against all obstacles and difficulties” AAP posted on X.

On bungalow row, AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said the bungalow was allocated to CM Atishi by the GAD department and ‘throwing her luggage out was disrespectful’.

“@ArvindKejriwalji had vacated the Chief Minister's residence and had even handed over the keys. But despite this, the Bharatiya Jhootha Party (BJP) continued to spread outright lies. The GAD department also gave in writing that Arvind Kejriwal vacated the Chief Minister's residence on October 4 and there is no bill pending against him. After this,@AtishiAAPji was given the keys of this house and his belongings were also kept. But now throwing his belongings out is an insult to the people of Delhi,” he said.

PWD, however, alleged CM’s staff voluntarily took away Atishi’s belongings before handing over keys to them. AAP said Atishi’s house was evacuated by the LG on the direction of the BJP.
