Delhi Traffic Challan: The Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) will organise National Lok Adalat on November 8, 2025, where traffic fines will be settled at discounted rates.

This Lok Adalat is being held specifically for traffic challans and will cover challans registered on the Delhi Traffic Police portal and sent to the virtual court until July 31, 2025. As per officials, 50,000 challans were downloaded on the first day on Monday.

THESE Violations To Be Granted Relief

On November 4, 5, and 6, 50,000 challans will be downloaded daily. Vehicle owners must first download their challans. They will be allotted a time slot. They must appear at the Lok Adalat with original documents at the designated time. Relief will be granted at the Lok Adalat only for minor traffic violations, such as not wearing a seat belt, driving without a helmet, and improper parking.

Serious violations such as drunk driving, jumping signals, and cases related to accidents are excluded from this process.

Lok Adalat Locations In Delhi

This special Lok Adalat will be held in all seven district court complexes in Delhi: Tis Hazari, Karkardooma, Saket, Patiala House, Rouse Avenue, Dwarka, and Rohini, from 10 am to 4 pm.

Lok Adalat Appointment: Follow These Steps

-The DSLSA has set a target of settling two lakh pending traffic challans during this period. To participate in the Lok Adalat, vehicle owners can visit the link https://traffic.delhipolice.gov.in/notice/lokadalat and enter their vehicle's chassis number and the last five digits of the engine number.

-After selecting the court, court number, and time, it will be necessary to download the challan and take a printout. No printing facility will be available on the court premises.

-Only a maximum of five challans per vehicle can be processed at a time. Officials have appealed to everyone to obtain online tokens in time to avoid any inconvenience during the hearing.

Lok Adalat To Be Held Every Month To Settle 3.5 Cr Pending Challans

To settle the approximately 35 million pending challans related to traffic violations in Delhi, preparations are underway to hold regular monthly Lok Adalats. According to jagrn.com sources, the proposal is in its final stages, and it is expected that monthly Lok Adalats will begin within the next two months.
