Delhi Metro Advisory For July 6: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said in an official statement on Saturday that there will be a slight delay in train service timings on two metro routes, particularly the Pink and Yellow lines. The commuters may face disruptions as metro train services will start later than usual due to Phase 4 work. The DMRC has made temporary adjustments to facilitate the work.
DMRC Revised Schedule For July 6
Pink Line (Line 7: Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar): In a major update by the DMRC, metro train services will start on this route at 8:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM on July 6. This one-hour delay on the route is essential to facilitate the integration-related work being undertaken during the non-operational hours.

In order to expedite the Phase-4 integration works, services on following section/Line will commence tomorrow (i.e, Sunday 6th July 2025) as detailed below:-

Yellow Line (Line 2: Jahangirpuri to Samaypur Badli): On this route, which forms part of the border route from Millennium City Centre, Gurugram to Samaypur Badli, metro train services will start at 7:00 AM instead of 6:00 AM on Sunday. The change in timings is done to accommodate the work related to the Phase-4 project.

The metro train services on all other Delhi Metro lines will run as per the normal Sunday schedule, without any changes, DMRC said.
DMRC Issues Advisory For Commuters
The DMRC advised the commuters to plan their trips as per the new timings, especially if they are travelling early. The corporation also expressed regret for the inconvenience and ensured that the changes were temporary and essential to build a more robust metro network.
