Delhi Weather Update: Conditions are becoming favourable for further withdrawal of the Southwest monsoon in Delhi, as the city grapples with scorching heat. The monsoon seems to have officially concluded in Delhi, with no rain spells observed in the last 24 hours and the forecast indicating mostly sunny weather.
From September 20 to September 26, Delhi-NCR is expected to experience continuously rising temperatures, with no respite in sight. The forecast indicates clear skies, blistering sunshine, and light breezes blowing at 15-19 km/h.
Delhi-NCR Weather Forecast: Blistering Sunshine For Week
- There's no prediction of rain in the region, meaning the heat will continue to push the temperature upward. As a result, humidity will increase, and residents will have to endure sweltering conditions.
- Over the next six days, the Delhi-NCR region will experience extreme heat, with temperatures rising from 33°C to around 36°C. This heatwave is likely to take a toll on the people in the region, making the next six days particularly challenging.
- In its last weather forecast bulletin, the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is anticipates mainly clear skies in Delhi and NCR districts like Noida, Gurugram, and others, with maximum temperature expected to range between 36-33 degrees Celsius till September 26.
- The city and the NCR region will likely experience Northwest winds at 10-15 kilometres in the forenoon hours, which will increase to 20-25 kilometres per hour during the afternoon hours. The wind direction will turn to southwest in the evening with the same speed as in the afternoon hours.
Check When It Will Rain Again In Delhi-NCR
According to the latest report from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is no forecast of rain from September 20 to September 26, with temperatures expected to rise continuously. Skymet Weather's report also concurs with this prediction. Although Skymet had earlier forecasted a possibility of light rain during this period, the latest update suggests otherwise.
While there is no expectation of rain between September 20 to September 26, there's a slight possibility of a very light shower on September 26.
