Delhi Water Cut: In a major update for the residents of Delhi, the water board has stated that the water supply will be affected in several regions of the national capital for the next two weeks. They further stated that the supply will be disrupted due to the diversion of water supply by Haryana and the non-availability of raw water from the Delhi Branch Canal. The authorities stated that due to the diversion, water production at the Haiderpur Treatment Plant Phase-1, Phase-2, Bawana, Dwarka, and Nangloi plants will remain affected at least until February 4. The state government has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and store water to avoid any inconveniences.

Delhi: Water Cut In THESE Regions

While providing details, the authorities stated that water supply will remain disrupted in several regions, including Pitampura, Shalimar Bagh, Lawrence Road, Saraswati Vihar, Sainik Vihar, Mongolpuri, Peeragarhi, Budh Vihar, Sultanpuri, Avantika, Raja Garden, Rajouri Garden, Subhash Nagar, Hari Nagar, West Zone, Kirti Nagar, Mayapuri, Inderlok, Todapur, Rohini Sector-23, and Rohini Sector-29.

Apart from this, water supply will also remain disrupted in other areas such as Kirari, Sultanpur Dabas, Qutubgarh, Karala, Bawana Sector-7, 11, 17, 18, Rohini Sector-19, Prashant Vihar, Madhu Vihar, Paschim Vihar, Mayapuri, Janakpuri, Tilak Nagar, Delhi Cantt, Palam, Deer Park, Mahipalpur, Sagarpur, Vasant Vihar, and Sadar Bazaar. However, the water board stated that the water supply will be regular from February 4, adding that the situation is being continuously reviewed.

Helpline Numbers Issued

The authority has also issued helpline numbers for water-related problems, adding that the residents can make requests for water tankers. The water board stated that residents can contact the central control room at telephone numbers 1916, 011-23527679, and 011-23634469 to resolve water-related issues. The authority has also advised them to limit their water use and preserve water for the next few days.
