Delhi Weather Today: Almost 25 trains arriving in Delhi on Monday morning were delayed by more than two hours amid dense fog. Many long-distance and local trains are running up to an hour late, causing daily commuters to face difficulties reaching their workplaces.

Trains Delayed

-New Delhi-Darbhanga Humsafar Express will depart five hours late.

-Saharanpur-Old Delhi Passenger is running late by about 2 hours.

-Panipat-Ghaziabad MEMU and Jakhal-Old Delhi Passenger by 1.5 hours.

-Bulandshahr-Tilak Bridge MEMU, Jind-New Delhi MEMU, Panipat-New Delhi Ladies Special EMU, Panipat-Old Delhi EMU, Saharanpur-Old Delhi MEMU, Hathras Fort-Old Delhi MEMU by 1 hour 15 minutes.

-Kurukshetra-Hazrat Nizamuddin MEMU, Dankaur-Shakur Basti EMU, Mathura-New Delhi AMU, Kurukshetra-Old Delhi EMU by 1 hour.

-Mathura-Ghaziabad EMU by 45 minutes.

Multiple North India states, including Delhi, are covered in a thick blanket of fog, significantly reducing visibility.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for thunderstorms and rain on Monday. There is a possibility of rain in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Haryana, Eastern Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

Winds up to 50 kilometres per hour are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Thunderstorms and heavy rain are also possible here. Heavy rain is also likely in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, eastern Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
