Delhi Weather And IMD Rain Forecast: Amid bone-chilling winter, unexpected rain and thunderstorms lashed the national capital for the second day on Thursday. The downpour that began on Wednesday evening has caused waterlogging and road blockages, making life even more difficult for the people of the city who are already enduring a tough winter.

Parts of Delhi received light showers this morning after sudden rains hit the city yesterday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 19 and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The drizzling improved the fog levels in the national capital today. On Wednesday morning, a thick layer of fog had enveloped the city, hampering flight and train operations.

The IMD had earlier predicted that light or moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall is very likely over Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, and Delhi and isolated to scattered rainfall over Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan during January 31 and February 1.
