An IndiGo flight from Varanasi to Delhi got a bomb threat on Saturday, however, all passengers successfully evacuated the plane upon arrival at the Delhi airport. The airline announced in a statement that there had been a bomb threat on flight 6E 2232, which was going from Varanasi to Delhi.
"Upon landing in Delhi, the aircraft was taken to an isolation bay as per security agency guidelines and the crew followed all standard operating procedures," it said.
The airline reports that every passenger has safely disembarked, and the aircraft is presently being inspected.
This incident on the IndiGo flight was noteworthy because it was the second such incident in a week. An early-morning bomb threat was received by an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Varanasi earlier on May 28. But as it turned out, it was a hoax. This follows an extensive search of the aircraft at the Delhi airport.

"A tissue paper, with the word 'bomb' written on it, was found in the lavatory of Indigo flight 6E2211 from Delhi to Varanasi at Delhi airport, prompting security agencies to conduct an inspection but it turned out to be a hoax," a senior CISF official said.
A similar incident occurred on Saturday when an IndiGo aircraft carrying 172 people made a "full emergency" landing in Mumbai following a bomb threat. According to reports, the aircraft touched down at approximately 8.45 AM and the passengers disembarked using the step ladder. After successfully disembarking every passenger, the flight is currently being inspected.
