Locations associated with a former Delhi Jal Board member were also raided by the probe agency. ED's action against AAP leaders came in connection with the money laundering probe linked to the alleged corruption in the Delhi Jal Board.

The ED alleged Delhi Jal Board chief engineer Jagdish Kumar Arora awarded a contract to NKG Infrastructure Ltd. for a total cost of Rs 38 crore, even as the company did not meet the eligible criteria.

The probe agency said the company got the contract by presenting forged documents and Rs 3 crore were paid by the owner to Arora as bride through various means, including cash and bank transactions.

Reacting to the development, Delhi Minister Atishi said the BJP was trying to intimidate the AAP through ED and the probe agency didn’t have any proof.
