Ghaziabad Triple Suicide: The three minor girls who jumped to death in Ghaziabad have left behind a handwritten suicide note apologising to their parents. The trio had jumped one by one from the ninth floor of a residential building on Tuesday after their parents allegedly objected to playing Korean task-based games.
The girls have been identified as Pakhi (12), Prachi (14) and Nishika (16). The incident took place at around 2:15 am under Tila Mod Police Limits in the Loni area.
Ghaziabad Minor Girls Leave Behind Suicide Note
The suicide note has words written in both in Hindi and English. The note has been written on a pocket diary page with some alphabets written in big font. The note advises the parents to read the diary completely, stressing that whatever is being said is the truth.
"Is diary me jo kuch bhi likha hai vo sab padh lo quki ye sab sach hai. (Read everything written in this diary because it's the truth). Read now!" the note mentions.
"I'm really sorry. Sorry, Papa," the sisters said, This message was followed by a big crying emoji.
The minors were immediately taken to a 50-bed hospital, where they were declared dead, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Atul Kumar Singh said.
"The Police Response Vehicle (PRV) received information at approximately 2:15 am that three girls had jumped from the balcony from 9th floor in Bharat City, located in the Tilamod police station area, and had died at the scene. Upon reaching the scene and conducting an investigation, it was confirmed that the three girls, identified as Nishika (approximately 16 years old), Prachi (approximately 14 years old), and Pakhi (approximately 12 years old), daughters of Chetan Kumar, had died due to the fall," the ACP said, as quoted by ANI.
"They were taken by ambulance to the 50-bed hospital in Loni, where doctors declared all three girls dead. The police are conducting further legal proceedings," he added.
An investigation is underway, and further details are awaited.
