Gujarat Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday stated that several districts of Gujarat are likely to receive light to heavy rain in the upcoming few days. The weather department stated that apart from rain, these districts are also likely to witness thunderstorms and gusty winds till July 5. It further stated that several districts, including Navsari, Valsad, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, and Surat, are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall till July 3. However, the IMD clarified that the other parts of the state are expected to receive light to moderate rainfall till July 5.
