In a tragic incident, two college students allegedly assaulted a man and vandalised his car in a road rage episode in Gurugram after a minor driving dispute escalated into violence on the Sohna Road-Rajiv Chowk stretch. Police have apprehended the two accused. 

The accused, identified as Parth and Paras, both 22-year-old BBA students who were travelling in a Scorpio SUV, engaged in a scuffle that allegedly led to the dispute, the police said. The situation escalated as the students stopped an MG Windsor car due to an altercation over yielding to one another.

The complainant has alleged that the students smashed his car’s windowpanes and attacked him with sticks, leaving him injured and bleeding. In a video recorded from inside the vehicle, he is heard crying for help and saying, "Why are you doing this? What have you done? Mera muh tod diya (They smashed my face). Stop these goons." 

In another video, he recounts the attack, stating, "My car's windowpanes were smashed, and I was beaten with sticks. They indulged in road rage. I am left bloodied"

According to police officers, the incident was reported after clips of the incident surfaced online, after which two individuals involved in the case were arrested just hours later. Their vehicle has also been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway on the interrogation of the duo, both of whom are residents of Sector 48.
