Gurugram Weather Update: Gurugram, along with other parts of the Delhi-NCR, witnessed stormy weather in the last couple of days. The change in weather caused hardship in some areas, while it also brought respite from the rising heat. However, the current relief is for a short term as the weather department has predicted a heatwave in the city next week.
As per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will mainly remain clear from tomorrow. The minimum temperature will rise from 21 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius from April 13 to April 18 (Friday).
Meanwhile, the maximum temperature will also rise from 37 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius from April 13 to April 18. The heatwave condition is likely to grip the city on April 17, 18.
Notably, the heatwave is a condition when the maximum temperature rises to 40 degrees Celsius or above.

Gurugram weather today
On Saturday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 19.3 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.6 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the weather department has predicted thunderstorms, lightning, sudden strong winds, and hailstorms with thunder in several other Haryana districts on Saturday night. These districts include Karnal, Yamunanagar, Jind, Kaithal, Fatehabad, Kurukshetra, and Ambala.
Earlier on Friday, a powerful dust storm swept Gurugram. As per reports, at least two people were severely injured after a huge pillar fell on their car near the Dwarka Expressway.
Those passing by the vehicles stopped and pulled them out safely as they were trapped in the car beneath the pole. The incident resulted in a traffic jam on the expressway.
The storm started at around 6:30 pm, resulting in congestion and traffic snarls. Several other incidents of hoardings falling and trees uprooting were also reported during the extreme weather.
