Around 40 workers were taken to hospitals with burn injuries after a blast in the boiler of a spare parts manufacturing facility in the industrial area of Dharuhera, Haryana's Rewari. According to the news agency PTI, the incident took place in the industrial area of Dharuhera. According to a senior police officer, no casualties have been reported yet.

Many of the wounded were rushed to the Civil Hospital in Rewari, and some were referred to hospitals in Delhi and Gurugram, said police.
According to the police, the incident took place around 5.50 p.m. when a boiler burst in the dust collector of the factory.

Several fire tenders were rushed to the unit to put out the fire.

Civil Surgeon Dr Surender Yadav said that a boiler exploded in a factory and that the hospitals have been alerted.

"We have sent the ambulance to the factory. Several people have burn injuries. Around 40 people are injured and there is one serious patient who has been referred to Rohtak...," he said as quoted by news agency ANI.
