In a significant event, the convoy of Pardeep Chaudhary, a Kalka-based Haryana Congress candidate, had been attacked. The incident took place in the Raipur Rani region's Bharauli village. During the incident, the bullet hit Goldy Kheri, who was Pradeep Chaudhary's supporter. The wounded supporter has been sent immediately to PGI Chandigarh for medical attention.

Meanwhile, no information about the assailants' identity has surfaced as of yet. More information on the event is anticipated as the local authorities look into it.

At the scene of the event, there were reportedly stampede-like conditions following the attack. Immediately after, the wounded supporter—who was riding a bike—was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Interestingly, on October 5, Pradeep Chaudhary was actively campaigning for the assembly elections that day. As his convoy approached the Rampur Dadu region, the miscreants opened fire on the convoy.

According to initial reports, Goldy's suspected involvement in illicit operations raises the possibility that the shooting was motivated by inter-gang rivalry.

Pradeep Chaudhary is a sitting MLA from the Kalka constituency of Haryana.

Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, attended a roadshow on Friday in Haryana's Jagadhri seat in Yamunanagar district as part of his campaign ahead of the state's Assembly elections. Campaigning for Adarsh Pal, who was fielded by the AAP in Jagadhri after leaving the Congress earlier this month. Sushil Gupta, AAP's Haryana unit president, accompanied Kejriwal on the road show.
