Jagran Team, Himachal: In a major update for the passengers, the route of the Vande Bharat Express train, operating between Himachal Pradesh's Una and New Delhi, has been changed. The officials stated that the route has been changed due to the ongoing maintenance work. The train is likely to arrive late in New Delhi due to the changes in the route, the officials added. The railways have advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and stay updated to avoid any inconveniences.

The Northern Railway is conducting maintenance work on the Ambala-Delhi railway section, leading to cancellation of several trains on the route. The repair work has caused disruption in movement of the trains since May 30. Apart from this, the routes of several other trains have been diverted to carry out the repair work smoothly.

Apart from this, the railways also temporarily changed the route of the Katra Vande Bharat Express as part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades.
