PM Modi On Operation Sindoor: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation with a clear and assertive message: India is adopting a new, uncompromising security doctrine. At the heart of this doctrine are three powerful pillars that define India’s future response to terrorism and threats to national security.
"Operation Sindoor is now India's established policy in the fight against terrorism, marking a decisive shift in India's strategic approach", he stated, highlighting that the operation has introduced a new benchmark and a 'new normal' in India's anti-terrorism efforts.

PM Modi Outlines India’s New Security Doctrine
In his first public address after India’s military retaliation, the Prime Minister introduced three fundamental pillars of India’s updated national security strategy:
1. Decisive Retaliation
India will now respond to any terror attack with a strong and resolute response.
The Prime Minister made it clear that India will respond strongly to any terror attack. According to the updated doctrine, India will strike back on its own terms, directly targeting terror networks at their core.

2. No Tolerance for Nuclear Blackmail
PM Modi asserted that India will not be threatened by nuclear rhetoric.

PM Modi said India will not be intimidated by nuclear threats. Any terrorist safe haven operating under this pretext will face precise and decisive strikes.
3. No Distinction Between Terrorists and Their Sponsors
The Prime Minister firmly declared that India will no longer view terrorist groups and the governments sheltering them as separate.
During Operation Sindoor, the global community once again saw Pakistan’s alarming reality senior military officials from Pakistan were seen publicly attending the funerals of slain terrorists, confirming the country's deep ties to state-sponsored terrorism.

Reiterating India's commitment to protect its people, the Prime Minister said the country will continue to take bold and necessary actions to defend itself from all threats.
He also noted that India's defence forces including the Army, Navy, Air Force, BSF, and paramilitary forces remain vigilant and prepared to safeguard the nation at all times.
PM Modi further stated that India has consistently outmatched Pakistan on the battlefield, and Operation Sindoor has added a new edge to India's defence capabilities. He praised the nation’s skill in both desert and mountain combat and highlighted India’s growing strength in modern warfare.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the effectiveness of domestically-produced weapons and equipment was clearly demonstrated during the operation. He remarked that the world is now witnessing the emergence of Made in India defence technology as a major force in modern conflict.
He underlined that unity is India's strongest asset in its fight against terrorism. Repeating his firm stance, he said this is not an era of war, but it certainly cannot be an era of terrorism either. "Zero Tolerance against terrorism is the guarantee of a better and safer world", he declared.
