Indore Dispute: A dispute took place between two neighbours over bursting crackers in Madhya Pradesh's Indore on Friday, a day after Diwali. The heated argument soon escalated into a fight as both groups began pelting stones at each other, causing minor injuries to a few of the people, said police.
The incident took place in the Chhatripura area of Indore, where some children were bursting firecrackers in the afternoon.
Some individuals became enraged and vandalised the parked vehicles on the road, breaking the car glasses.
A large number of policemen arrived at the scene, and the issue was quickly resolved. Those who sustained injuries are being treated in the hospital. Also, the police have initiated an investigation, and action will be taken based on the results.

According to DCP Zone 4 Rishikesh Meena, “The clash erupted in Ravidas Pura of Chhatripura police station area. Some children were bursting crackers On Friday afternoon after which the conflict occurred among neighbours coming from different communities. Three got injured and they are being treated.”
“Police have dominated the entire area with approx 80 policemen watching the area. The situation is under control at present. And we request the entire Indore not to believe in any kind of rumour or speculation. Also, strict action would be taken against those who were found guilty,” he added.
Following the incident, Eklavya Gaur, the son of MLA Malini Gaur, arrived at the Chhatripura police station, accompanied by members of Hindu groups. He requested strong punishment against members of the opposing party implicated in the argument. Police from Malharganj, Pandrinath, and Sarafa stations have been dispatched to the location.
