UP Horror:  A 17-year-old boy was killed brutally as his head was chopped off by a few men in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur on Wednesday. The incident was an outcome of a four-decade-old land dispute between two parties in the area. For hours, the teenager's weeping mother sat with the severed head on her lap.

According to police, a decades-old land dispute between two parties in Kabiruddin village, which is within the jurisdiction of the Gaurabadshahpur police station, escalated into violence on Wednesday when they fought.

A few men, one of whom was brandishing a sword, chased Anurag, the seventeen-year-old son of Ramjeet Yadav. Anurag was assaulted, and the teen's head was severed from the torso by the force of the weapon's swing. The swordbearer is on the run, and authorities claim they are working to find him, even though two individuals have been arrested.

To keep the law and order situation from getting worse, multiple police teams were dispatched to the scene in a hurry. According to the villagers, the boy's mother spent many hours sitting with the severed head on her lap.
