Jharkhand Weather: Rain activity is expected to continue this week in Jharkhand. In the forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a low pressure area is becoming active again in the Bay of Bengal from August 13.

The effect will be seen in and around Dhanbad. Rain activity is expected to pick up pace from Monday. There is a strong possibility of rain with thunder at many places on August 11-12. On August 13 and 14, there will be light to moderate rain with thunder at all places in Jharkhand. There is also a possibility of rain on August 15 and 16. During this time, rain with thunder may also occur at some places.

The weather remained clear throughout the day on Sunday with no rain during the day. However, in the evening, the weather suddenly changed. Light drizzle was reported in multiple areas. Soon conditions worsened and heavy showers began. It rained heavily for an hour. This brought relief from the humidity however, many low-lying areas were flooded.
