The monsoon will enter Jharkhand via West Bengal and Bihar. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that the maximum temperature may increase by 3 to 5 degrees in the next few days. This will cause hot and humid conditions during the day. However, light rain is expected in some parts of Santhal Pargana.

IMD on Sunday stated that several states are likely to witness light to heavy rainfall in the upcoming few days. The northeastern states have been receiving rainfall for the past few days, and the weather department also confirmed that the region will continue to witness rainfall for the next five days.

Apart from this, the IMD also stated that northern states, including Delhi-NCR, parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Haryana, are expected to receive light rainfall until June 7. The weather department confirmed that the temperature is likely to reduce in these states by two to three degrees Celsius, providing a major relief from the scorching heat.
