Jharkhand Weather Alert: The Meteorological Center, Ranchi, has forecast heavy rainfall at some places in Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Bokaro, Gumla, Khunti, Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar, Lohardaga, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Pakur, Jamtara, Dhanbad, Giridih and Sahibganj. A yellow alert has been issued in these Jharkhand districts. The forecast states that there is a possibility of lightning along with thunder in these districts.

There is also a possibility of heavy rainfall in the northern parts of Jharkhand on July 5. Along with this, there is also a possibility of strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour along with thunder in these districts.

There are indications of heavy rainfall in the north-eastern part, adjacent central part and southern part - East and West Singhbhum, Simdega and Saraikela Kharsawan on July 6. There is also a possibility of strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour along with thunderstorms in these districts.

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that there is a strong possibility of light to moderate rainfall in most parts of the state on July 4, 5 and 6. There will be no major change in the maximum temperature during the next five days.

Jharkhand Weather In Last 24 Hours

Monsoon activity remained normal in the entire state over the last 24 hours. Light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms were recorded at almost all places, while heavy rainfall occurred at some places.

The highest rainfall of 69.6 mm was recorded in Chaibasa of East Singhbhum. The highest maximum temperature of 34.1 degree Celsius was recorded in Godda while the lowest minimum temperature of 21.7 degree Celsius was recorded in Latehar. The maximum temperature of Ranchi was 28.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 23.4 degrees Celsius.
