Jharkhand Weather ForecastThe Meteorological Center, Ranchi, has issued a warning for heavy rain in most parts of Jharkhand including Dhanbad till July 16. Low pressure is becoming active once again in the Bay of Bengal. Yellow alert has been issued for Dhanbad, Bokaro, Jamtara, Giridih while an orange alert has been issued for other districts. The alert comes as a low pressure area is becoming active once again in the Bay of Bengal.

As per the weather body, lightning along with strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are also likely. Due to reduced rain activity, an increase in temperature was recorded during the last 24 hours. The maximum temperature had reached around 33 degrees Celsius. The temperature is expected to fall by four degrees from Monday.

Weather Systems Working 

An upper air cyclonic circulation has formed over northwest Bay of Bengal off West Bengal and North Odisha coasts, extending up to 5.8 km above sea level. Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal during the next 24 hours.

Along with this, another low pressure area is likely to form in Madhya Pradesh and its surrounding areas. The monsoon trough is extending from the southern part of Jharkhand to the Bay of Bengal. Due to the combined effect of these weather systems, heavy rains are expected for the next few days.
