Jharkhand Weather Update: According to the Meteorological Center, Ranchi, the weather is going to deteriorate in 14 districts of Jharkhand. The weather body has issued an orange alert for rain with strong winds, and thunderstorms in this regard. Ranchi remained partly cloudy throughout the day on Sunday, bringing much needed respite from heat for the residents. The Meteorological Center Ranchi has forecast that the temperature in the entire state may fall by five to seven degrees Celsius in the next three days.

Jharkhand Weather Update: Possibility Of Strong Winds

According to the Meteorological Center Ranchi, there is a possibility of strong winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph along with thundershowers in some places including Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Gumla, Bokaro and Khunti as well as in the north-eastern part - Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Pakur, Jamtara, Giridih, Dhanbad and Sahibganj. An orange alert has been issued regarding this.

Jharkhand Weather Update: Yellow Alert In These Districts

The same situation will prevail in the southern part of Jharkhand - East and West Singhbhum, Simdega and Saraikela Kharsawan as well as in the north-western part which includes Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar and Lohardaga. A yellow alert has been issued for these districts.

There is also a possibility of lightning in some parts of Jharkhand on April 28 and 29. The conditions will remain more or less the same on April 30, while on May 1, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rainfall in some parts of the adjacent central part, southern part and northwestern part.

Jharkhand Weather Update: Temperatures Likely To Drop

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that the maximum temperature in the state is likely to fall by five to seven degrees Celsius for three days - April 28, 29 and 30. After this, there will be no major change in the temperature for the next two days, May 1 and 2.

In Jharkhand, light rain occurred at some places in the state during the last 24 hours. The highest rainfall of 4 mm was recorded in Baharagora of East Singhbhum. The highest maximum temperature of 44.1 degree Celsius was recorded in Doltenganj and the lowest minimum temperature of 20.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Chatra.

At the same time, the maximum temperature in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi was recorded at 38.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 23.4 degrees Celsius.
