Karnataka Weather: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for heavy rain for the next couple of days in seven Karnataka districts, including: Mysuru, Kodagu, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru, Chamarajanagar, Dakshina Kannada, and Udupi. Karnataka has been witnessing an unprecedented cold wave, with severe chills and strong winds sweeping across the state.
Karnataka Coldwave
Cold winds and dry weather are expected to persist across several areas, including Uttara Kannada, Bagalkote, Belagavi, Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapura, Yadgir, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Kolar, Mandya, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, and Vijayanagara.

Among the recorded temperatures, Davanagere saw the lowest at 11.5 degree Celsius. Bengaluru continues to experience a cloudy atmosphere, with dry weather and minimal chances of rain.
With the weather fluctuating across the state, residents are urged to remain prepared for the cold wave and potential rainfall in the coming days.
Bengaluru Weather
Bengaluru is set to experience the minimum temperature between 15 and 16 degrees Celsius, due to which dense fog is anticipated in the city, and it is expected to remain the same throughout the day. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 28 degrees Celsius on Friday, January 31. Due to a shift in weather conditions, rainfall is expected in February, as per IMD. Change in weather conditions is anticipated due to the change in weather conditions.
