Weather In Karnataka: India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bengaluru, has forecast heavy rain is likely in Coastal Karnataka districts on Saturday, May 24. IMD has issued an alert for showers in Udupi, Belagavi And Dharwad among other districts. Additionally, moderate showers will lash Ballari, Bengaluru (Rural and Urban), Chamarajanagara, Chikkaballapura, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Kolara, Mandya, Ramanagara, Tumakuru and Vijayanagara districts on Saturday. As per the weather body, a low-pressure area over the east-central Arabian Sea off the Konkan-Goa coast is likely to intensify into a depression by the evening of May 23.
