Karnataka Weather Today: The IMD has issued a Yellow Alert for several districts of Karnataka. The state capital woke up to a rainy Sunday morning following heavy showers on Saturday. Patchy rain is expected to continue, with temperatures ranging between 19 and 25 degrees Celsius and humidity levels around 84 percent.
Bengaluru recorded good air quality with an AQI of 45 yesterday. Gentle winds at 18.4 km/h and cloudy skies are likely to persist through the day, with sunset expected at 6:16 PM.
Karnataka Weather
Districts on alert include Bidar, Kalaburagi, and Yadgir. Rainfall is expected in several parts of Karnataka, including Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Belgaum, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapura, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, and Chamarajanagar.
Showers are also likely in Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Davangere, Hassan, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya, Mysuru, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, Tumkur, and Vijayanagar. Rain has already been reported in areas such as Gangapur, Kerur, Mundagod, Banavasi, Bellur, Kota, TG Halli, Udupi, Agumbe, Bailhongal, Bandipur, Bhalki, Gopalnagar, Gokak, Kibbanahalli, Rona, Saidapura, and Uppinangady.
Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X (formerly Twitter) for seven days and wrote, "Scattered to widespread moderate rain and isolated heavy rain with thunderstorms and strong winds across the state today. Rain activity is likely to decrease in the remaining days."

Bengaluru Weather Forecast
1. Patchy rain and mild temperatures are expected to continue in Bangalore throughout the upcoming week.
2. Sunday will be slightly warmer with a high of 26 Degree Celsius and a high chance of rain.
3. Similar weather is expected on Monday and Tuesday, though with reduced rainfall.
4. By mid-week, temperatures will stabilize around 24 Degree Celsius with cooler nights and a mix of sun and clouds.
5. Thursday and Friday are likely to be more favorable for outdoor activities due to lower chances of rain.
6. Yesterday’s AQI was recorded at 45, marking one of the cleanest days of the month.
7. Today’s rain is expected to help maintain these improved air quality levels.
