Who Will Form Govt This Year?
The people of Keralam have changed the government every time in the assembly elections, but in the 2021 elections, the Left Democratic Front (LDF) broke this tradition and Pinarayi Vijayan was sworn in as the Chief Minister for the second consecutive time.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will aim for a hat-trick of victories this time, while the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) and the BJP will attempt to topple the government. The tenure of the current assembly is scheduled to end on May 23, 2026.
