Maiya Samman Yojana Installment Update: In a major financial aid, 56 lakh women in Jharkhand are set to receive Rs 2500 in their bank accounts on Monday under the much-hyped Maiya Samman Yojana. Chief Minister Hemant Soren will symbolically provide the funds to five women at a proposed program at Army Ground in the Khojatoli area of Namkum. The eligible women from all across the state will receive the amount on the same day in their accounts.
The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is planning to organise a mega show to publicise the financial aid provided by the government. Around three to four lakhs of women from several of the districts of the state are likely to participate in the program. The maximum number of participants in the program is expected from Sahibgunj, Girideeh, and the capital city, Ranchi. CM Hemant Soren is also expected to address the crowd on this occasion.
The party workers have put up big pink colour hoardings at the squares and intersections of the capital, Ranchi, ahead of the mega program. The hoarding says, "Jo Kaha So Kiya", meaning we delivered what we promised. Apart from Hemant Soren, his wife and MLA Kalpana Soren is also expected to be present in the program. Several regional artists are also likely to perform in the mega state-level event.
The state government is planning to transfer Rs 5,000 into the bank accounts of the eligible women under the much-hyped scheme. While the pending amount of December will be transferred on January 6, the amount of January will be provided on January 11. The beneficiary women have received the amount in four installments so far.

Apart from this, few of the women had already received an amount on December 27 and December 28 as a trial. Maiya Samman Yojana was considered a key factor behind the victory of JMM in the recently concluded Assembly elections in Jharkhand.
