A viral video on social media has sparked controversy after it showed a man getting brutally beaten by his wife. As per the post, the man had been the victim of abuse for nearly two years before recording the assault.

The clips were recorded from his laptop; the visuals show a woman slapping, beating, and pulling his hair during an argument. Sharing the video, the user captioned it, "After being abused for the past two years, bro recorded these clips on his laptop. Think twice before getting married."

The catchy caption, combined with the nature of the visuals, fetched engagements into the post

The video clip soon gained a lot of views. The reaction was a mix of complaints and criticisms. “Marriage is so scary… I’m literally scared," one user said.

“What is wrong with Waste Bengal and the Bengali girls? They think men are a resource for acquiring anything they want. Khud kaam karlo yaar," said another.
