At least two people died while seven others sustained burn injuries after a massive fire broke out at a restro-bar in Karnataka's Mysuru on Monday. The incident took place at a popular restaurant-bar, Fox Den Liquor Garage Bar & Restaurant, located near Dattagalli on the Ring Road in the RT Nagar area.

According to the information, more than 25 people were reported to be inside the restaurant when the fire broke out. So far, seven people have been rescued. 

While the exact cause of the fire will be ascertained after the detailed investigation, initial reports suggest a short circuit may have caused an inferno.

The rapidly spreading fire caused panic among the people inside and the staff. As smoke filled the building, many people were trapped inside. Fire and emergency service personnel immediately arrived at the scene and began rescue operations. 

The deceased have been identified as Sahin (26), a resident of West Bengal's Darjeeling, and Prakash (24), a resident of Nepal. Both used to work at the restaurant. According to reports, they were trapped inside the building when the fire intensified and died on the spot from burns.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials said some suffered severe burns, while others were injured trying to escape the smoke-filled building.

The fire brigade rescued seven people safely from the burning building. Eyewitnesses reported that thick smoke obscured visibility and blocked exits, causing panic among those inside. In a desperate attempt to save themselves, some jumped from the upper floors of the building, resulting in further injuries.
