NEET-UG Row: The Opposition will raise in Parliament on Friday the issue surrounding alleged irregularities in the conduct of the NEET-UG medical entrance exam held on May 5 this year, INDIA bloc leaders said. Adjournment motions over the issue will be moved in the Parliament, DMK MP Tiruchi Siva said. An adjournment motion, which can only be moved in the Lok Sabha, seeks to draw the attention of the Government to a matter of urgent public importance.
NEET Paper Leak: Issue To Be Raised In Parliament
"We will give notices (in Parliament) on the NEET issue tomorrow," the parliamentarian told reporters after a meeting of the floor leaders of the constituent parties of the INDIA opposition alliance held at Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge's house on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Rashtriya Loktantrik Party supremo Hanuman Beniwal, who too attended the meeting, stated, "The Opposition is united and it will raise the issues of NEET, Agniveer, inflation and unemployment and MSP in the Parliament."

NEET-UG Paper Leak: Latest Developments
Earlier in the day, members of the Congress party's students' wing, the NSUI, barged into the headquarters of the National Testing Agency (NTA), which has been the subject of constant public criticism in the wake of the NEET-UG "paper leak" and the recent cancellation of the UGC-NET examination, in Delhi and locked its doors as a sign of protest.

During the day, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) made its first arrests in the NEET-UG paper leak case. The probe agency arrested two men from Patna on Thursday, officials said. The arrested individuals have been identified as Manish Kumar and Ashutosh Kumar.
