In the latest updates on the Noida suicide case, it is revealed that the man had to spend over 30 lakh for his premature child’s treatment and was also paying Rs 15 lakh alimony to his wife, following their separation. This comes days after the 29-year-old man from Gurugram allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the 43rd floor of an Airbnb of the Supernova Spira society.
What did the police find?
Sambhav Jain worked as a techie who worked at a private company in Gurugram and got married in 2024. Jain’s son had a premature birth and had to spend the first month in a neonatal intensive care unit. Jain burrowed a huge sum of money from friends and family members for his son’s treatment, police said.

Things turned worse as Jain separated from his wife a few months after his child’s birth. A court ordered Jain to pay Rs 15 lakh to his wife in two instalments. Even as Jain had already paid Rs 7-8 lakh, the remaining money was due next month.
WhatsApp chats had revealed that his father told him to return home; however, he denied saying he would pay all the debts first. Jain allegedly left home three days earlier and resided at different hotels. On Saturday, October 3, the 29-year-old man checked into the Airbnb at around 3 pm.
Earlier, it was revealed that the deceased was going through mental distress and allegedly died by suicide amid the worsening medical condition. Following the death, the police recovered two videos; one was filmed by a person on the 17th floor, while the second was recorded by an AC technician who attempted to save him.
