Noble Citizen Foundation (NCF) organized a tree plantation drive at Smriti Vatika, Sector-55, Gurugram, to promote environmental sustainability and enhance green spaces in urban areas. As part of its ongoing commitment to ecological conservation, NCF also announced the adoption of Smriti Vatika to ensure its long-term greenery, cleanliness, and maintenance.
During the event, Sahil Kaushar, CEO of Noble Citizen Foundation, emphasised the need to protect and expand urban green spaces to combat pollution and climate change. Jesting Anthony, Chairperson of NCF, highlighted the organisation’s commitment to environmental conservation, while Saurabh Sengupta, Mentor for Future Leaders in Sustainability Projects at NCF, shared insights on how green spaces contribute to a healthier and more sustainable urban environment.
The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from NCF volunteers and residents of Gurugram, who together planted 40 saplings. Their active involvement underscored the growing awareness and responsibility toward preserving nature and promoting a cleaner, greener city.
With the adoption of Smriti Vatika, NCF will take responsibility for regular maintenance, cleanliness, and further plantation drives, ensuring that the park remains a thriving green space for the community.
