Noida International Airport is set to begin commercial flight operations on June 15, marking a major milestone for air travel in Delhi-NCR and North India. The much-anticipated airport will provide both passenger and cargo services, significantly enhancing regional connectivity and offering travelers a new aviation hub outside Delhi.
According to Jagran.com, The first commercial flight from Noida International Airport will be operated by IndiGo on June 15. Details regarding the destination, departure time, and full flight schedule are expected to be announced soon by airport authorities and the airline.
Airport Inaugurated By PM Modi On March 28
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Noida International Airport on March 28, following which expectations grew around the launch of domestic and cargo services. After receiving approval for the Airport Security Programme (ASP) from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, Yamuna International Airport authorities officially confirmed the commencement of flight operations from June 15.
Airport officials stated that all key security infrastructure, operational systems, and regulatory procedures have been completed in accordance with aviation safety requirements ahead of the commercial launch.
Following IndiGo’s inaugural service, Akasa Air and Air India Express are also expected to begin operations from the airport in the coming weeks.
