PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana: The Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme is a significant initiative aimed at improving the economic well-being of underprivileged communities of Haryana. Given its potential to benefit many, officials should actively encourage citizens to apply for this scheme and take advantage of its opportunities.

These instructions were issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Anand Kumar Sharma during a meeting with officers from various departments at the Mini Secretariat today.

Relief In Electricity Bills

Dr Sharma emphasised that the scheme would not only offer significant relief in electricity bills for the poor, but also provide financial incentives for those who use less electricity. He highlighted that the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, jointly launched by the Haryana and Central Governments, presents a valuable opportunity for citizens to access free solar energy.

This scheme not only aims to save electricity but also promotes clean energy and helps protect the environment.

Free Installation Of Solar Panels

Dr Sharma explained that the scheme offers up to 300 units of free electricity from solar energy each month. Under this initiative, solar panels will be installed at no cost for poor families, with almost a 100% subsidy.
