Raipur News: Six girls, known to a female fashion designer, are accused of assault and theft in the Khamhardih police station area. The police have filed a case against Lisha Rajput, Alisha Mehta, Divya Dhureja, Manju Dwivedi, Komal Jain, and Rani Sahu, all of whom are currently absconding.

The accused, all residents of Korba, were living in a rented house in Raipur at the time of the incident.

Rahnuma Nazir, originally from Balangir, Odisha, has been living in Raipur for the past seven years, working as a fashion designer. She resides in a rented house in Bhavana Nagar.

In her police complaint, the victim stated she knew the accused: Alisha Rajput, Alisha Mehta, Divya Dhureja, Manju Dwivedi, Komal Jain and Rani Sahu.

On the evening of April 3, while the victim was bathing, the accused, including Komal Jain, forcibly entered her house and broke down the bathroom door. Divya Dhureja kicked open the door and dragged her out by her hair. The group verbally abused and physically assaulted her before stealing a gold chain from her neck.

During the incident, the victim's mobile phone was damaged, and several items were stolen, including five rings, a gold chain, Rs 30,000 in cash, and an iPhone.

When her friend, Chanchal Ahuja, who was present at the time, protested, she was also pushed.

The altercation reportedly stemmed from a dispute over a young man named Vikas Agarwal. According to reports, one of the girls had recently broken up with him, but tensions arose over interference in his personal life. Following this, the six girls, acting on their instructions, together assaulted the victim.
