A severe accident occurred in the Kotputli district of Rajasthan due to dense fog, where a Roadways bus collided with a pickup truck. Twenty-five passengers were injured in the incident and have been taken to a hospital for treatment.
Regarding the incident, the police stated that on Saturday, a Rajasthan Roadways bus collided with a pickup vehicle on the Jaipur-Delhi National Highway (NH-48) due to low visibility caused by dense fog, leaving approximately 25 people injured.
Bus Climbs Divider After Collision
The accident took place near Paota. After colliding with the pickup truck, the bus ran over the road divider. Officials reported that all the injured were rushed to the Paota Sub-District Hospital, from where the driver and two other passengers were referred to Jaipur for further treatment.

Pragpura Station House Officer (SHO) Bhajna Ram stated that a police team reached the spot upon receiving information about the accident. He explained that the Delhi-bound bus collided with a stationary pickup vehicle and climbed onto the divider due to low visibility caused by the dense fog. Traffic on the highway was briefly disrupted following the crash, and further investigation is underway.
