Rajasthan Bus Accident: In a tragic accident reported from Rajasthan's Sikar, a bus travelling from Salasar reportedly collided with a culvert in Laxmangarh, killing 12 individuals, including five women, and injuring several others. The incident took place on Tuesday, October 29 at around 2 PM, according to police.
According to police, the injured have been taken to the Government Welfare Hospital in Laxmangarh for treatment.
IG Satyendra Choudhary said, "12 people have lost their lives. A few of those who are injured are referred to Jaipur and others are getting treatment at SK Hospital, Sikar. Proper treatment is being given to those injured."

Following its collision with the culvert's wall, the bus sustained significant damage. The entire side of the bus had been destroyed, and there was commotion inside.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed condolences for the disaster and issued directions for good treatment of the victims. According to available information, no definite reason of the accident has been identified.
However, the police are looking into the reasons. As soon as the information was received, Sikar MP Amara Ram, Collector Mukul Sharma, SP Bhavanbhushan Yadav, City DSP (IPS) Shaheen C, and ADM Ratan Kumar went to the scene.
