Jaipur: A shocking case has come to light from Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar district, where a 13-year-old girl was allegedly held captive for four days and sexually assaulted by multiple people. The incident has sparked outrage across the region, with police arresting 10 accused so far.
According to a Jagran.com report, citing police, the incident took place on June 18. The victim, a Class 8 student, had gone to Sri Vijaynagar to meet a friend. At around 10:30 pm, she reached Sri Ganganagar and boarded an e-rickshaw driven by a man identified as Rambabu to return home. Instead of dropping her home, the e-rickshaw driver took her to 'Hotel Joy Inn'.
Four Hotels Identified
It is alleged that over the next four days, the girl was shifted from one hotel to another while in a drugged state, and multiple individuals sexually assaulted her. The investigation initially named three hotels where the girl was kept, but the police have now also identified a fourth hotel named 'Dream', located near Birbal Chowk.

10 Arrested
After the girl went missing, her family filed a missing person report. Acting promptly, the police recovered the girl from the 'Hotel Joy Inn' on June 22. Based on the girl's statements, the police have arrested 10 people so far. Those arrested include e-rickshaw driver Rambabu, hotel owner Mayank Sain, and managers Hardeep Nath and Sachin. Additionally, two other accused, identified as Deepak and Tarun, were apprehended on Saturday.
Five People Assaulted The Minor
According to the police, out of the 10 people arrested in connection with the case, five are accused of sexually assaulting the minor, while the others allegedly helped facilitate the crime. Police have sealed one hotel linked to the case and seized the CCTV recording systems (DVRs) from four hotels as part of the investigation.
A team of experts is examining the footage under the supervision of District Superintendent of Police (SP) Harishankar Yadav. Several other clues have also been obtained from the mobile phones of the accused.
