Air Chief Marshal On Operation Sindoor

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, speaking at the 93rd Air Force Day celebrations, described Operation Sindoor as a "moment of immense pride" for the nation. In his speech, he traced the Indian Air Force’s legacy from its founding in 1932 to its role in conflicts spanning 1947-2025, highlighting key milestones along the way.

“In 1947, we safeguarded Kashmir. In 1965, we struck from the skies. In 1971, we contributed to the creation of a new country. In 1999, we displayed courage in Kargil. In 2019, we eliminated terrorists in Balakot. And this year, we achieved victory over the enemy in Operation Sindoor in just four days. The Indian Air Force has demonstrated capability and valour in every era, upholding the nation's glory,” he said.

BJP Responds

Responding to the dinner menu referencing Operation Sindoor, the BJP national spokesperson wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “From serving dishes to serving justice. Now even the Menu of IAF conveys a new normal! Gone are the days when 26/11 took place, and no action was allowed as per P Chidambaram by foreign powers. Now it’s a new model, ghar me ghus kar maaro.”
