Renukaswamy Murder Case: Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, who is an accused in the abduction and murder of a purported fan of his, allegedly kicked the victim in the genitals after getting his trousers removed, according to the chargesheet filed by the police. The additional details about the alleged torture surfaced in a report published by news agency IANS on Monday.

Earlier, it was reported that the victim, Renukaswamy, was allegedly given electric shocks to his private parts with the help of a megger machine. "Darshan and his gang used the megger device to damage Renukaswamy's testicle," the chargesheet said. Darshan, his friend Pavithra Gowda, who is the main accused, and 15 others are presently under judicial custody in connection with the case. Darshan is also accused of having kicked the victim on the stomach and the head.

It has been mentioned on pages 174 and 175 of the chargesheet that Darshan forcefully kicked Renukaswamy's private parts, IANS reported on Monday. "After checking Renukaswamy's mobile phone and seeing obscene photos, Darshan stomped on him. Calling him a pervert, Darshan kicked Renukaswamy in the stomach. After he fell to the ground, Darshan kept one leg on Renukaswamy's chest and pushed hard," the charge sheet claimed.

"Accused No. 2, Darshan, kicked him hard with his shoe. Darshan forcefully kicked the left side of Renukaswamy's head with his shoe. This assault caused serious injuries to the victim's left ear. Darshan then instructed Pavan to remove Renukaswamy's pants after which he forcefully kicked his private parts with his shoe," it added.

The chargesheet reportedly mentioned as many as 39 injury marks on Renukaswamy's body. It further said that the assault caused the victim's chest bones to break. As per the findings of the police probe, the accused besides Darshan also assaulted the victim. "Renukaswamy died due to the fatal assault by the accused," it said.
