Tamil Nadu Power Cut: In the wake of maintenance and repair work, the electricity distribution authority in Tamil Nadu has announced a power outage for several localities in two of the districts in the state. The power supply will remain affected in Multiple areas in Kanyakumari and Chennai in Tamil Nadu, Tomorrow, on September 13
 
The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) is scheduled to carry out maintenance work in multiple localities in Kanyakumari and Chennai, leading to scheduled power outages in both districts. The maintenance work will be carried out at different hours of the day in both the districts, hence power outage timing in Kanyakumari and Chennai will vary.
 

Chennai Power Cut On Saturday: List Of Affected Areas And Timing

As per the announcement by TANGEDCO, localities in Chennai will undergo a power disruption from 9 am to 2 pm, as the maintenance work has been scheduled during the aforementioned hours in the district. The following localities in the Adyar area in Chennai will observe a power cut tomorrow-
 
Adyar: Hareyamman Koil Street, Vannandurai, Jayaram Avenue, Ramasamy Avenue, Abranji Avenue, SBI Colony, Besant Nagar, Shastri Nagar, 7th to 13th cross streets, and 1st Main Road.

Kanyakumari Power Cut On Saturday: List Of Affected Localities And Timing

- Areas in Kanyakumari will face a power supply outage from 8 am to 2 pm, as repair and maintenance work is scheduled during these hours on Saturday. The following areas will be affected due to the electricity cut -
 
- Peruvilai, Asaripallam, Parvathipuram, Alamparai, Keeripari, Kadukkarai, Boothapandy, Vadasery, Krishnancovil, Kalunkady, College Road, Dennison Road, Asaripallam, Ananthannagar, Konam, Pazhavilai, Santhapuram, NGO Colony, Beach Road, Konam, and Pallam.
 
 
The electricity distribution corporation has assured residents that it will resume power supply before the scheduled hours if the maintenance work is completed early.
