Bengaluru Power Cut: Ahead of the scheduled quarterly maintenance work on September 13 and September 14, the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced power disruptions for several hours in Bengaluru and Tumakuru districts.

Bengalur And Tumakuru Power Outage Timing

The power supply will be affected in Bengaluru and Tumakuru districts from 10 am to 5 pm.

Bengaluru Power Cut: List Of Affected Areas

- The BESCOM has released the list of areas where the power supply will be affected from 10 am to 5 pm. Here’s a list of areas-

- K.G. Temple, Hirehalli, Honnudike, Hennur, and Thimmasandra. Residents in these areas are advised to plan accordingly and avoid using high-power appliances during the maintenance window.

Tumakuru Power Cut: Areas To Face Power Cut

- Electricity supply will be affected in villages and towns such as Nittur, Gubbi, Bidre, Doddaguni, Kadaba, Kallur, Ungra, Somalapur, South-Western Railway Line, Bellavi, Heggere, Doddasarangi, Kor, Beladhara, Urdigara, and areas under C.T. Kere Substation.

BESCOM has advised residents to prepare in advance as the outage is announced for 7 long hours. Besides, these regions are also advised to take necessary precautions and ensure essential services have backup arrangements.

Bengaluru Power Cut On Sep 10

- Earlier, several areas in Bengaluru went through a power cut on Wednesday due to repair and maintenance work by BESCOM. The two-hour power outage occurred in localities within East Bengaluru.

- The maintenance work was scheduled to be carried out within the Banaswadi 66/11 KV substation from 10 am to 12 noon.
