Tamil Nadu Power Cut News: The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) typically conducts maintenance and repair work encompassing various tasks. The corporation has announced a massive power outage across the state, affecting prominent districts such as Chennai, Karur, Vellore, Coimbatore, Krishnagiri, Ayakkaranpulam, Namakkal, Pudukkottai, Perambalur, Thanjavur, Minjur, Korattur, and Porur.

Tamil Nadu Power Cut On Tuesday: Power Cut Timing

The distribution corporation will be carrying out maintenance work in several areas at different times, hence there is a slight difference in power disruption timing for each district. In some districts, the power supply will be affected from 9 am to 4 pm, while in others it will be affected from 9 to 5.

Tamil Nadu Power Cut: Timing And Affected Areas In Coimbatore

Several areas in Coimbatore will undergo an electricity supply disruption for 7 hours from 9 am to 4 pm. Here’s the list of localities to face a light cut in Coimbatore on Tuesday-

Housing Board, AR Nagar, Thamami Nagar, Driver Colony, Samundeswari Nagar, Suguna Nagar, Union Road, Ashok Nagar, Murugan Nagar, Bharathi Nagar.

Dindigul Power Cut On Tuesday: Check Schedule

The district will face a power cut for 5 hours on Tuesday due to scheduled maintenance work. List of affected areas- Silukkuvarpatty, Keithaiyurumbu, Kamatchipuram, Rengamaniackenpatty, Sekkapatty, Viruveedu area, Oddanchatram town, Markkampatty, Salaipudur, Puliyurnatham, Kodaikanal hill area.

Tamil Nadu Power Cut: Timing And Areas Of Supply Disruption In Karur

Several localities in Karur will undergo a power supply cut for 8 long hours from 9 am to 5 pm as the corporation has scheduled maintenance and repair work in the area. Localities to face inconvenience are- Vengamedu, Vangapalayam, Vennaimalai, Perichipalayam, Arasu Colony, Panjamadevi, Minnampally, Vangal, Manmagalam, N.Puthur, Kadampankuruchy, Vallipalayam, and Vadugapatty.

Krishnagiri Power Cut On Tuesday: Timing And Affected Areas

The substation will undergo a power supply outage for 8 long hours Tomorrow from 9 am to 5 pm. Residents of the following areas are advised to prepare themselves in advance-

Nagondapally, Gopanapally, Goolisandhiram, Mudhukanapalli, Chettipally, Maasinayakkanapally, Uddanapally, Agaram, Dhyanadhurgam, Nagamangalam, Nallaralapally, Beerjepally, Ullukurukkai, and Bodisipaly.

Tamil Nadu Power Cut: List Of Affected Areas And Timing For Ayakkaranpulam

Ayakaranpulam, Karupampulam, Voimedu, and Maruthur in Ayakkaranpulam will undergo a power supply cut on Tuesday from 9 am to 4 pm.

Namakkal Power Cut: Timing And Affected Areas

The following areas within Namakkal will undergo a power supply cut from 9 am to 5 pm-

Kabilarmalai, Sirukinathupalayam, Ayyampalayam, Pandamangalam, Vengarai, Pilikkalpalayam, Irukkur, Manickanatham, Panjappalayam, Selur, Sellappampalayam, Periyamaruthur, Chinnamaruthur, Pagampalayam, and Periyasolipala.

Tamil Nadu Power Cut In Pudukkottai: Check Schedule

Mathur, entire area Viralimalai, entire area Melathaniyam, entire area Periyar Nagar, Kamban Nagar, Thiruvarankulam, Kulathur, Ammachathiram, entire area Illupur, entire area Nagarapatty, and entire area Konnaiyur will face power supply disruption from 9 am to 4 am.

Perambalur Areas To Be Affected By Power Cut

The following areas will undergo electricity cur from 9 am to 2 pm-

SENDURAI, NADUVALUR THELUR, KALLANKURICHI, COLLECTOR OFFICE, THUTHUR, THIRUMANUR, THIRUMALAPADY, INDUSTRIAL, and KEELAPALUR.

Areas in Thanjavur will be affected by a power cut from 9 am to 3 pm, while Vellore will face a power cut from 9 am to 5 pm. The corporation has also scheduled maintenance work in Chennai and Minjur, hence these two areas will also face a power cut.
