Uttarkashi Tunnel Accident News:  In a fresh development in the Uttarkashi tunnel mishap, a protest broke out at the site of the accident. Angry over the delay in the rescue of their coworkers, a group of labourers started sloganeering and started confronting the authorities present at the site.

In the visuals posted by the ANI, labourers could be seen pushing the police barricades and getting into heated arguments with the Uttarakhand Police personnel present at the spot.

Screams such as "Hmaare Admiyon Ko Bhahar Nikalon" and "Hame Andar Jaane Do" meaning 'Get our men out' and 'Let us go inside' could be heard in the video.

However, soon after the protest, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar requested everyone to remain patient and promised to recover every trapped worker as early as possible.
