Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that several parts of the eastern and southern states are likely to witness moderate to heavy rainfall in the coming days. As per the weather department, the coastal regions are set to experience thunderstorms and gusty winds. The residents have been advised to follow the guidelines and limit their outings during rain to avoid inconveniences.
While providing details, the weather department stated that several states such as Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala are set to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall. The continuous intense rainfall is likely to cause waterlogging in the lower regions, leading to inconveniences to the residents and the daily commuters.
Delhi Weather Update
As per the weather department, the rain activities in Delhi and its nearby cities are likely to reduce from Tuesday. The residents are likely to witness cloudy skies and gentle breezes; the region is not expected to receive heavy rains. While the maximum temperature is likely to be calculated at 35 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 26 degrees Celsius.

Heavy Rain Likely In Bengal
The IMD has stated that several parts of West Bengal are likely to witness heavy rain in the coming 24 hours due to an active monsoon. As per the weather department, several districts, including Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, and Cooch Behar, are set to witness heavy rainfall till Wednesday.
Along with heavy rain, the residents of these regions are also set to experience thunderstorms and gusty winds. However, the southern districts of the state are likely to remain dry.
Apart from this, the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala are also likely to witness heavy rain in the coming days. The fishermen have been advised to maintain a distance from the water bodies to ensure safety.
