Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that several states are likely to witness light to heavy rainfall at least till October 6. The weather department stated that along with rainfall, several parts are also set to experience thunderstorms, gusty winds and lightning. The residents have been advised to follow the guidelines and limit their outings during the rain to avoid inconveniences.
Rain Likely In Multiple States
As per the weather department, several states are likely to witness rainfall on Thursday, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Delhi-NCR Weather Update
While the residents of Delhi are not likely to witness rainfall on Thursday, gentle breeze is expected in the morning and evening hours. While the maximum temperature is likely to be calculated at 33 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 23 degrees Celsius.

Rain Likely In Uttar Pradesh
The IMD stated that heavy rainfall is expected in several districts of Uttar Pradesh, such as Meerut, Ghaziabad, Agra, Mathura, Prayagraj, Deoria, Bahraich, Gonda, Sonbhadra, and Kanpur. Apart from this, strong winds with speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour are possible during this period.
Bihar, Jharkhand, And Odisha Weather
The rain activities in several parts of Bihar is likely to continue at least till October 6. Along with rain, multiple regions are also set to witness thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds. The weather department stated that similar weather condition is likely to continue in Jharkhand and Odisha till Friday.
Along with these states, light to heavy rainfall is also likely in the central and western states, including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh. The weather department has also stated that parts of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Keralam are also set to experience similar weather conditions.
