YEIDA Plot Scheme News: The fate of 187577 applicants in the residential plot scheme of YEIDA Yamuna Authority will be decided on Thursday. In the draw to be held at India Expo Mart from 10 a.m., the plot will be allotted by drawing slips of the applicants' names. Only applicants who have filled out the option of lump sum payment will get a chance to participate in the draw.
YEIDA New Scheme Yamuna Authority has allowed only 1877 applicants to come to the draw site. For other applicants, live broadcasting has been arranged on Doordarshan Uttar Pradesh channel, Dainik Jagran's portal, and YouTube channel, as well as social media platforms.
YEIDA Flat Scheme Yamuna Authority had launched a scheme for 361 residential plots on July 5. The last date for application in this was August 23. The authority had received 202822 applications. After investigation, 202235 applications were found to be correct. The number of applicants who have filled out the option of lump sum payment is 187577. Therefore, it has been decided to include only these applicants in the draw.
Shailendra Bhatia, special executive officer of Yamuna Authority, says that the allotment of plots will be decided by drawing slips of applicants' names. The draw process will also be videographed and photographed. It will be conducted under the supervision of a jury of three retired High Court judges.
The registration amount of unsuccessful applicants will reach their accounts within 72 hours of the draw. Successful applicants will have to pay the remaining 90 percent amount within sixty days. The plot scheme has plots of 120, 162, 200, 300, 500, one thousand, and four thousand square meters.
