The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday carried out raids at more than half a dozen locations in Ranchi in connection with a high-profile tribal land scam. The case involves the fraudulent conversion of land in Chama Mauza (revenue village) of Kanke from tribal to general category using forged documents.
Among those named as accused are land mafia Kamlesh Kumar Singh and Kanke Resort owner BK Singh, along with several others. The ED is investigating the case for money laundering.
Raids were conducted in areas including Kadru, Ashok Nagar, and Sukhdev Nagar, which are linked to land dealers, builders, and other individuals connected to the case.
Authorities have stated that the investigation is ongoing, with further developments expected in the coming days.
